My USB hard drive is not detected in Device Manager.Check to ensure there is enough power coming from your USB port. Normally, 500 mA for USB 2.0 and 900 mA for USB 3.0 is sufficient. If your hard drive requires more power, a Y-adapter with an external power supply or a second USB port must be used.
Does the case have sleep mode?It is recommended that our case goes into sleep mode after 30 minutes. Unfortunately this is not feasible for all chipsets.
