Regardless of whether it's 2.5" hard drives or Solid State Disks of the same design:
The QuickStore Portable Pro offers both types of media modes an elegant housing. In addition, the stylish external hard drive housing is extremely flexible. Through an adapter, the internal height of the housing can be adjusted to accomindate use of both 9.5 mm and 12.5 mm hard drives.

The QuickStore Portable Pro is available in both USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 interface versions.
Both models are offered in either a silver or black brushed metal finish.
The housing features a built-in backup function, the accessories include the usual materials (cable and instruction manual) plus the applicable backup software.
The installation of a hard drive or SSD in the QuickStore Portable Pro is completely tool free and requires only a few simple steps.

  • My hard drive does not appear in My Computer.
    If the hard drive is new, it should be partitioned and formatted in Windows Disk Management, then is should appear in My Computer/Explorer.
  • My USB hard drive is not detected in Device Manager.
    Check to ensure there is enough power coming from your USB port. Normally, 500 mA for USB 2.0 and 900 mA for USB 3.0 is sufficient. If your hard drive requires more power, a Y-adapter with an external power supply or a second USB port must be used.
  • Does the case have sleep mode?
    It is recommended that our case goes into sleep mode after 30 minutes. Unfortunately this is not feasible for all chipsets.
