Our Commitment to Environmentally Friendly Packaging
We are continuously working to make our product packaging as environmentally friendly as possible. All of our storage and peripheral products – from keyboards and mice to headsets – are already shipped in fully paper-based, environmentally friendly packaging. This helps reduce plastic waste, improve recyclability, and lower our environmental footprint.

At the same time, we would like to transparently explain why we are currently unable to completely eliminate plastic from larger products such as PC cases, chairs, and tables.
Why Certain Plastic Materials Are Still Used for Larger Products:
Protection of Small Parts and Accessories
Most PC cases are shipped with screws and small parts packed in sturdy paper or cardboard boxes. Only very low-cost market segments still use plastic bags. For certain accessories that require special protection during transport, plastic currently remains the more stable and secure solution.
Protection Against Scratches on Sensitive Surfaces
Large products often feature painted metal surfaces, coated panels, or moving components. These require scratch-resistant protective covers to ensure reliable protection during global shipping. Paper-based solutions tend to tear easily or do not provide the same level of protection. Protective covers made from recyclable PE/PP currently offer the most reliable and resource-efficient option.
Tempered Glass Requires Special Protection
For PC cases with tempered glass panels, we use special protective films that prevent scratches, provide additional protection, and deliver a satisfying ASMR moment when removed. At present, there is no paper-based alternative that offers comparable protection, especially during long transport routes and under changing climatic conditions.
Impact and Shock Protection with EPE Foam
Heavy products such as tables, chairs, or cases require effective protection against shocks and impacts. EPE foam reliably absorbs these forces and protects products from transport damage. Paper-based alternatives do exist but are significantly more expensive and currently not available in sufficient quantities for large-volume products.
Our Way Forward
Sustainability is a long-term goal for us. We reduce plastic wherever it is technically feasible and makes sense – without compromising product safety. At the same time, we are actively exploring new and more environmentally friendly materials for large and sensitive products. As soon as practical and scalable alternatives become available, we will take further steps toward fully plastic-free packaging solutions.
