The X-Tatic Pro is a native 5.1 headset with four speakers per ear piece, which can be adjusted separately through the cable-integrated volume control. The heart of the X-Tatic Pro is the Sound Control Unit (SCU), a decoder box that supports the sound formats Dolby® Digital 5.1, Dolby® Digital 2.0 and Dolby® Pro Logic II.

The SCU provides versatile connection possibilities: It can be connected to relevant sound sources through a 3.5 mm jack, a coaxial input or an optical S/PDIF connector. Active 5.1 speaker systems or headsets can be connected via three analog audio outputs within the SCU.
An optical audio output offers the possibility, for example, to connect an amplifier to the SCU. The audio signal is then looped-through from the decoder box (audio pass-through).

The comfortably padded headband and the soft ear pads provide a pleasant wearing experience even in prolonged use. They have an ear encircling design, thereby absorbing external noise, and adjust horizontally and vertically to the head shape. The flexible microphone can be bent into the ideal speaking position, or completely removed. The cable integrated volume control can be easily accessible with its clip by attaching it to a shirt.
