Connection to a computer occurs without additional software or power supply via the built-in USB 3.0 cable (type A plug), which is stored underneath. Once connected, the Spinhub reaches a transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s and the data transfer can be checked at any time via the blue status LED. In addition, it supports synchronization and charging of energy-saving mobile devices. The Spinhub is therefore ideally suited for rapid and simple connection of external USB devices and is, of course, backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.
